Job Description Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Participate in preconstruction and project start-up activities. Coordinate and maintain regular communication on project tasks and schedules with the project manager, owner, and subcontractors. Manage onsite employees and coordinate tasks with foreman/leads. Maintain a safe worksite and enforce all safety regulations. Hold weekly safety meetings. Complete daily inspections and job site safety analysis. Review job cost with the project manager, and accurately track labor, materials, and equipment charges. Receiving incoming materials, verifying and tracking inventory, and resolving associated issues. Complete job site paperwork, timecards, daily reports, and equipment tracking. Complete job close-out process. Experience from a GC who's managing the entire process of the project. Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner, and gathers and analyzes information skillfully. Manage difficult client/customer situations, responds promptly to customer needs, solicit customer feedback to improve service, respond to requests for service and assistance, and meet commitments. Prioritizes and plans work activities and uses time efficiently. Meets productivity standards and completes work in a timely manner and will meet all deadlines. Adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands, and is able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events. Observe safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills. Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sioux Falls, SD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
