About the Role The firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Secretary to support attorneys in both Phoenix and Los Angeles. You’ll play a key role throughout the lifecycle of litigation matters—from initial filings through post-trial—within commercial and labor litigation practices. Experience with Arizona and California courts is a huge plus. What You’ll Do • Prepare, edit, proofread, and file legal documents (pleadings, discovery, motions, subpoenas, correspondence, etc.), • Handle court filings and e-filings, • Apply and research local, state, and federal court rules, • Manage calendaring requirements and collaborate with the national docketing team, • Organize incoming and outgoing mail and case materials, • Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and vendors, • Arrange attorney travel and prepare expense reports, • Assist with time entry and client billing, • Open new matters, request conflict checks, and maintain electronic and physical files, • Maintain strict confidentiality and support attorneys proactively as part of a collaborative team What We’re Looking For • Experience with AZ and/or CA courts (highly desirable), • Strong ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines, • Excellent proofreading, grammar, and document-formatting skills, • Professional, polished communication style, • Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, iManage, Intapp, and Adobe, • Strong organizational and project-management skills, • Minimum typing speed: 60 WPM Compensation & Benefits • Salary up to $80,000, depending on experience and education, • 37.5-hour workweek, • 20 days PTO + 10 paid holidays, • Outstanding medical, dental, and vision coverage, • STD & LTD, • 401(k), • Stable, growing office with long-term career potential, • Social, inclusive, and genuinely welcoming firm culture Ready to Apply?
