Job Description The Senior Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing mechanical construction projects from inception to completion. This position requires extensive experience leading multi-million dollar mechanical construction projects. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality and safety standards. The Senior Project Manager will collaborate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to drive project success. Key Responsibilities • Lead project planning, scheduling, and execution for mechanical construction projects., • Manage project budgets, contracts, and financial performance., • Coordinate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure project alignment., • Provide technical advice to both clients and employees working on assigned project., • Oversee procurement of materials and equipment., • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies., • Ensures accurate and timely project documentation, including but not limited to, RFI's submittals, schedule updates, time records, supplemental work orders, change order pricing, and general project correspondence., • Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve issues proactively., • Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams; Monitor all work performed on assigned project., • Conduct regular meetings to track progress and address challenges., • Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders., • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Science, or a related field., • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience managing mechanical and plumbing contracts valued at $25 Million+., • Strong knowledge of HVAC, piping, plumbing, and mechanical systems., • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Autodesk Construction Cloud, MS Project)., • Project site based., • Interaction with clients, engineers, and construction teams. While visiting field locations, the employee may be required to work outdoors, be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; dust, fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions, extended exposure to sunlight; cold and heat; risk of electrical shock and vibration. Compensation will be commensurate with experience. This is a full time position based in Austin, TX.
