Position Summary The Billing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all billing operations to ensure accurate, timely invoicing across all company divisions. This role manages billing staff, ensures compliance with company policies and deadlines, resolves discrepancies, and continuously improves billing processes. You’ll collaborate across departments and serve as a key resource for billing accuracy and efficiency. Key Responsibilities • Team Leadership, • Supervise daily activities of billing staff to ensure accuracy and timeliness, • Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and support employee development, • Assist in hiring, onboarding, training, and disciplinary processes, • Develop cross-training plans to ensure team coverage, • Identify training needs and improve team efficiency, • Billing Operations, • Oversee billing for all ground divisions within deadlines, • Supervise TranSendIt billing and payables processes, • Ensure accuracy and completion of all customer invoices, • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, • Maintain and update billing procedures and documentation, • Financial Reporting & Analysis, • Analyze billing data to identify trends and process improvements, • Provide ad hoc reports and insights to leadership, • Process Improvement, • Develop and implement billing policies and procedures, • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline operations, • Customer Service, • Respond to billing inquiries and resolve disputes professionally, • Approve billing adjustments, credits, and write-offs, • Maintain strong client relationships through excellent service, • Compliance & Accuracy, • Ensure billing complies with policies, contracts, and regulations, • Review new customer agreements for accurate billing setup, • Conduct audits to maintain data integrity and accuracy, • Additional Duties, • Support other accounting-related functions as needed, • Occasionally assist with deliveries to meet customer needs Qualifications • Required:, • High school diploma, • Minimum 3 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or accounting operations, • Experience in high-volume billing environments with strict deadlines, • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint), • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record, • Preferred:, • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field, • Prior supervisory or team lead experience Skills & Competencies • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, • Analytical mindset with problem-solving ability, • High level of integrity and confidentiality, • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, • Flexibility to work overtime as needed Why Join Crossroads Courier? • Competitive salary, • Health, dental, and vision insurance, plus 401(k) with company match., • Tuition reimbursement and professional development opportunities., • Generous paid time off: Vacation, sick leave, and holidays., • Stable, full-time schedule, • Team-oriented, values-driven culture Apply Today!
