Job Description We're looking for an organized, detail-oriented, and experienced estate planning and probate paralegal to play an important role on our legal team. You'll draft legal documents such as Trusts, Wills, Powers of Attorney, Deeds, Probate pleadings, Guardianship and Conservatorship pleadings, and keep case files and other important information neatly organized and easily accessible. Compensation: $18 to $26 an hour Responsibilities: Under the guidance of a lawyer, draft Trusts, Wills, Powers of Attorney, deeds and other Estate Planning documents; and draft Probate, Guardianship and Conservatorship petitions, orders, and related documents Enter client data accurately and completely into a document assembly program and into MyCase Meet and greet clients and conduct final signing meetings with clients for their estate planning documents Hold client interviews to gather information about their estate plans Take care of administrative tasks such as answering phones and maintaining an organized filing system for all legal documents Qualifications: • Candidates who have completed a paralegal professional certification or have advanced paralegal education will receive preference, • Must have strong interpersonal skills and talent for writing and grammar, • At least 3 years of experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting, • Must have great time-management skills, and organizational skills Must have excellent data entry and proofreading skills Must be goal-oriented with excellent initiative in completing tasks with little supervision About Company To apply for this job, please send your resume’ to office1@epattorneys.com with “Wills & Trusts” in the Subject line.
