Job Description Our long-time in-house Accountant Director is retiring. We are seeking an individual who can come alongside her and learn our unique Harley-Davidson-required software, and help provide a seamless transition as she exits. Initially, this will require learning tasks that may seem simple, but are required in order to understand the overall complexities of the role. The role will be managing accounting to the bottom line, being tax-motivated within legal limits. As our current accountant director provides training, this position will transition into the Accounting Director position, which is responsible for payroll, tax payments, financial reporting, monthly and year-end closings and ultimately all accounting processes for our two dealerships. Additional support provided as you train other administrative personnel, however, daily work is performed independently. The ability to interact with non-financial personnel and interpret financial information to assist them in executing their responsibilities is a very desirable skill. QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required. EXPERIENCE: Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word required. Excellent attention to detail and organizations skills.
