The Warehouse Operations and Distribution Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Budderfly’s warehouse operations, including inventory management, receiving, order fulfillment, shipping, along with inbound RMA coordination and processing. This role leads the warehouse team to ensure operational accuracy, safety, and efficiency. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who excels in process optimization, ERP utilization, and cross-department collaboration to support Budderfly’s rapid growth and customer commitments. Key Responsibilities: • Leadership & Team Management:, • Lead, coach, and develop the warehouse team, including the Warehouse Lead and associates, to maintain a culture of safety, accuracy, and continuous improvement., • Operational Oversight:, • Manage all warehouse functions—receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping, and inbound RMAs—to ensure timely and accurate movement of materials and equipment., • Order Fulfillment & Shipping:, • Oversee pick, pack, and ship operations for project orders; ensure all outbound shipments are completed accurately and on schedule., • ERP System Management:, • Optimize the use of the ERP system for order management, inventory transactions, and warehouse visibility; drive process improvements through data integrity and reporting., • Inventory Management:, • Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, reconciliations, and root cause analysis of variances., • Safety & Compliance:, • Maintain a safe and compliant warehouse environment; lead safety programs and ensure adherence to company and OSHA standards., • Warehouse Layout & Process Improvement:, • Design and continually improve warehouse layout and workflow to maximize efficiency and material flow., • Inbound RMAs:, • Oversee and streamline inbound RMA processing, ensuring prompt inspection, documentation, and disposition in the ERP system., • Cross-Functional Collaboration:, • Partner with Procurement, Logistics, and Operations to align material availability, order priorities, and service levels., • Metrics & Reporting:, • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for warehouse performance, including order accuracy, turnaround time, inventory accuracy, and safety compliance. Qualifications: • Experience: 5–10 years of progressive experience in warehouse, distribution, or materials management roles, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management capacity., • Technical Skills: Advanced ERP experience (NetSuite, SAP, or similar required); strong Excel and data analysis skills., • Knowledge: Deep understanding of warehouse operations, order fulfillment, logistics, and inventory control best practices., • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and develop teams, set clear performance goals, and foster accountability., • Process Orientation: Strong background in lean or continuous improvement methodologies; able to design and implement scalable processes., • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, operate standard warehouse equipment, and navigate a warehouse environment., • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills; proactive problem-solving mindset. Compensation: $95,000 - $115,000 USD Compensation is based on factors including level of experience, skillset, qualifications, and location.
