Position Summary The Inside Sales & Office Support Specialist is responsible for generating new business opportunities through outbound calling, lead qualification, and appointment setting. You’ll be the first point of contact for many prospective clients—introducing them to Jani-King’s services, asking discovery questions to understand their facility needs, and ensuring a smooth handoff to the outside sales team for in-person follow-up. Your ability to build rapport quickly, capture accurate information, and position our services as the trusted solution will be central to your success. In addition to your sales role, you’ll provide a small amount of weekly office support by answering incoming calls, routing inquiries, and coordinating schedules for franchise disclosure meetings. This ensures a professional first impression for anyone contacting our Pittsburgh office while also supporting the sales process. Key Responsibilities • High-Volume Outreach: Drive outbound sales activity by making 100+ calls per day to targeted businesses across the Pittsburgh region. Engage decision-makers, open meaningful conversations, and consistently meet or exceed daily and weekly activity goals. Your persistence and energy will be the first step in growing our regional pipeline., • Qualify & Set Appointments: Establish credibility on the phone by asking thoughtful discovery questions to understand each prospect’s facility needs. Document key information, identify fit, and secure qualified, high-value appointments for the outside sales team—ensuring a smooth handoff that leads to strong conversion., • Lead Follow-Up: Actively follow up with warm leads generated from inbound inquiries, marketing campaigns, networking events, and prior calls. Keep potential clients engaged and moving through the sales cycle by providing timely responses and consistent outreach., • CRM Management: Maintain complete and accurate records of all outreach, conversations, and next steps in our CRM system. Ensure visibility and accountability for every lead and appointment so the sales team can operate with efficiency., • Partner with Field Sales: Work in lockstep with the outside sales team to align on territory strategies. Share lead intelligence, provide context on each prospect, and confirm appointments are set with the right decision-makers to maximize conversion rates., • Campaign Support: Participate in targeted call campaigns designed around industries, seasons, or special promotions. Adapt messaging to support corporate and regional initiatives that drive growth., • Professional Brand Voice: Represent Jani-King with professionalism and persistence. Every call should reflect our reputation as the most trusted name in commercial cleaning franchising, leaving prospects with a positive impression of our services., • Light Administrative Support (~4 hrs/wk): Support the Pittsburgh office by answering and routing front-desk calls, managing voicemail inquiries, and ensuring callers are directed to the appropriate contact. Schedule franchise disclosure meetings, coordinate calendars, and provide general office support such as greeting visitors or assisting with meeting logistics. The majority of your day will be dedicated to phone-based outreach and CRM work, but you’ll also participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and strategy discussions with the regional team. In addition to sales activity, you’ll handle light office responsibilities—answering incoming calls, scheduling disclosure meetings, greeting occasional visitors, and supporting day-to-day office needs.
