Infant and Toddler Teacher Purpose: To cooperate in providing a warm and nurturing, high quality early childhood environment in which each child can grow physically, emotionally, intellectually and socially. Regular work schedules are Monday through Friday, 7:45-4:45, 8:00-5:00, 8:15-5:15 or 11:00-5:15. Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Infant and Toddler Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a safe and stimulating environment for young children. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development., • Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging classroom environment for infants and toddlers., • Observe and assess children's development and progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians., • Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues., • Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall learning experience., • Maintain a clean and organized classroom, ensuring all materials are safe and accessible., • Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities. Skills and Qualifications: • CDA, associate or bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field preferred., • Experience working with infants and toddlers in a childcare or educational setting., • Strong communication and interpersonal skills., • Ability to create a nurturing and supportive learning environment., • Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education., • CPR and First Aid certification is a plus., • Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with young children. Requirements: • CDA, bachelor's or associate degree in early childhood education or related field is preferred., • CPR/First Aid, • Current TB Test, • Current Physical, • Ability to relate joyfully and sensitively to children, co-workers and families, • Sensitive to the individual needs of families, • Ability to communicate with families effectively, • Ability to supervise variety of staff, • Knowledge of rules, regulations and standards, • Knowledge of child development, • Ability to provide appropriate guidance, • Ability to seek supervision and use it constructively, • Evidence of emotional maturity and stability, • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, • Evidence of sufficient judgment to handle crisis situations
