Job DescriptionJob Title: 2nd Shift Mechanical Assembler Job Description This role involves performing precise mechanical and electronic assembly of cardiovascular medical devices in a cleanroom environment on 2nd shift. You will use hand tools to build small, intricate components, follow detailed assembly drawings and instructions, and complete required documentation to support high-quality, life-saving products. Responsibilities • Perform mechanical and electronic assembly of cardiovascular medical devices, including plastic valves, stents, disposables, and assemblies for heart pumping machines., • Work on an assembly line to build small components using appropriate hand tools and fixtures., • Follow detailed assembly drawings, written instructions, and work travelers to complete each step of the assembly process accurately., • Review and interpret assembly documentation to ensure correct parts, tools, and methods are used for each build., • Sign off on travelers and other production records to confirm completion of assembly steps and compliance with quality standards., • Inspect assembled components visually and by using basic measuring or inspection tools as required to verify quality and functionality., • Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with cleanroom protocols and production standards., • Adhere to all cleanroom procedures, including gowning and handling requirements, to protect product integrity., • Collaborate with production team members and leads to meet daily output goals and support smooth workflow on the assembly line., • Report any issues with components, tools, or documentation to appropriate personnel to help resolve problems quickly., • Follow all safety guidelines and standard operating procedures while operating tools and equipment on the production floor.Essential Skills, • At least 2 years of experience in electronic or mechanical assembly., • Proficiency working in a cleanroom production or manufacturing environment., • Ability to use hand tools for small, detailed mechanical assembly work., • Experience working on an assembly line or in a production setting., • Ability to read and follow assembly drawings, diagrams, and written instructions., • Capability to complete and sign off on travelers and other production documentation accurately., • Strong attention to detail and quality in handling small components and assemblies., • Ability to follow strict procedures and protocols in a regulated environment., • Dependability to work 2nd shift consistently as scheduled.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Prior experience assembling medical devices or other highly regulated products., • Familiarity with cardiovascular device components such as valves, stents, and disposables., • Experience working with plastic components and small mechanical parts., • Comfort working in a structured, process-driven manufacturing environment., • Willingness to grow into a long-term, temp-to-hire opportunity with potential for pay increases.Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Allen, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
