Job Description Plating Technician/Operator (Production Metal Finishing) Train on day shift Monday-Thursday 6am-4pm, once training is complete, will move to 2nd shift 2nd M-F 6pm-2am. Benefits: • Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Group Life Insurance, • Health Savings Account (HSA), • Flexible Spending Account (FSA), • Paid Time off, • Sick Time, • Paid Holidays (7), • 401(k) plan with 100% match up to 3% and 50% up to 5%, • Tuition reimbursement, • Employee Assistance Program Job Description: • Perform plating processes including line start-up, operation and shut down processes, • Make adjustments to tanks including temperatures, flow, shut down, etc., • Monitoring all machine/line dynamics, • Check, maintain and adjust pH, feeders, temperatures and complete required documentation of checks, • Monitor plating results, including review parts, checking for defects and preventing plating defects through process adjustments, • Troubleshooting of equipment and parts during the plating process, • Understand customer/vendor parts and requirements, • Participate in cross training for various departments, • Perform lock-out, tag-out on necessary equipment, • Additional responsibilities as assigned Required Experience: • High School Diploma or GED, • Prior machine operation experience required, • Ability to safely work with chemicals, chemical identification & understanding of chemistry a plus, • Preferred Understanding of Electroplating, • Ability to read blueprints, • Ability to safely move chemicals using a forklift or other material handling equipment, • Operation of overhead crane or hoists, • Basic mathematical and organizational skills Company DescriptionKelly helps companies recruit and manage skilled workers and helps job seekers find great work in industries such as accounting and finance, education, engineering, government, manufacturing and production, technology, and more.
