Requirement: US Courts - Space, Facilities, & Architecture Project Manager Job Description: Forge is seeking a Senior Specialist to support the Administrative Office of the US Courts (AOUSC) in the Space and Facilities Division (SFD) - provide expert and high-level strategic advice, guidance, and project management support in furtherance of SFD's programmatic space and facilities initiatives. This position is contingent on award of contract and grant of funding. Key Responsibilities: Key responsibilities of the candidate will be (but aren't limited to): * Space Realignment Support: Provide expert advice and guidance on the following: * Assist SFD staff with interpreting space utilization data and relating this to Occupancy Agreements (OAs) and space assignment drawings. * Communications. Assist SFD staff with assembling communications to circuits and courts to brief them on space realignment opportunities. * Use GSA's OASIS, GSA PBS Customer Dashboard, and JSPACE to support data gathering and analytics. Programmatic Support: * Maintain an overview of SFD's portfolio of projects * Maintain a calendar of meetings, deliverables and key milestones where judiciary input or involvement is required. * Actively communicate with SFD's Facility Program Managers and Court Architects to maintain project situational awareness. * Maintain a schedule of required reports. * Based on feedback, update report templates and recommend ways to improve, automate and streamline report production and distribution. * Monitor GSA's dashboard tools to ensure that the data is up-to-date and that narratives are consistent in content and format. * Review GSA-produced cost estimates. * Review A/E drawings for constructability issues. * Review cost estimates for furniture, courtroom technology and other project costs funded by the judiciary. * Develop and maintain portfolio and project-level schedules to supplement GSA's and include key judiciary activities and decision points. * Assist SFD staff with identifying and tracking project risks. * Assist with meeting planning and documentation. * Assist with the development of meeting briefing materials - provide input on ways to improve the quality and content of materials. * Assist with the development of materials intended to document processes, lessons learned, best practices and inform process to stakeholders and customers Qualifications/Requirements: The Candidate must have the ability to think strategically, act tactically, and display strong analytical and critical thinking skills. They must also build strong cross-group working relationships and demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. The Candidate must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. We are looking for candidates with experience in Project Management with a focus on space and facilities or architecture and engineering projects. Experience in strategic planning and advisory. Minimum Qualifications: • US Citizen Bachelor's Degree plus five (5) years relevant work experience in the field or in a related area. * Experience in Project Management * Experience in Space and Facilities or Architecture & Engineering advisory. * Knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, SharePoint, Project, and PowerPoint. Highly Desired Qualifications: * Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent. * Experience with cost estimation review. * Experience reviewing architectural and engineering drawings for construction feasibility.
