Assistant Project Manager 📍 Location: Norwich 💷 Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum ⏱ Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week About the Role We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Project Manager to join our growing team in Norwich. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with the right personality, drive, and positive attitude to support the delivery of key projects. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will play a vital role in planning, coordinating, and monitoring projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities • Assist with project activity planning and sequencing, including quality, risk, and time planning using Microsoft Project (Gantt charts)., • Produce accurate project documentation such as contractual notices, progress and commercial reports, and email correspondence., • Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders, clients, and delivery partners to manage resources and meet commitments., • Understand and manage project milestones and payment criteria, supported by the necessary documentation., • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying and removing inefficiencies in processes., • Ensure compliance with company standards, documentation, and procedures., • Uphold company culture and values in all aspects of work. What We’re Looking For The ideal Assistant Project Manager will be: • Highly organised with strong attention to detail, • A confident communicator, both written and verbal, • Able to prioritise tasks and manage competing deadlines, • Positive, proactive, and keen to learn new skills, • Motivated to develop and grow within a project management role Previous project management experience is beneficial but not essential – we are more interested in your personality, attitude, and potential to succeed.
