We’re recruiting on behalf of a long-standing consultancy partner who is expanding their software engineering teams across multiple UK locations. These roles span from Software Engineer to Principal/Lead Software Engineer, offering opportunities for both hands-on development and technical leadership. Locations: Cheltenham, Bristol, Plymouth, Manchester Salary Range: £60,000 – £90,000 per annum Clearance Requirement: Due to the nature of our client's work, applicants must be eligible for UK Security Clearance (British passport holder, UK residency for the past 5 years). About the Organisation Our client is a specialist software consultancy delivering bespoke solutions to complex operational challenges across government and commercial sectors. Their teams work on mission-critical systems, applying modern engineering practices and cloud-native technologies to deliver secure, scalable platforms. The Opportunities: • Software Engineers: Join Agile teams building full-stack solutions using Java, Spring Boot, React, and AWS. You’ll work across the full software lifecycle, from design to deployment, with exposure to CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments., • Principal/Lead Engineers: Take ownership of large-scale projects, guiding multidisciplinary teams of Software, DevOps, and Test Engineers. You’ll lead technical decision-making, architecture design, and stakeholder engagement while remaining hands-on with development.
