We exist because we believe the traditional advisory model is broken – it's too slow, too expensive, and too disconnected from the people doing the work. So we’re building something different. We don’t advise and exit - we embed ourselves in our clients’ teams, guide the right conversations, build capability, and own delivery end to end. We’re also currently building out our own AI-powered software to cut out the repetitive rubbish, streamline how we work and make consulting EASIER and FASTER. Why Loomera over a bigger company? The company is growing fast. We already have a steady client base that’s expanding rapidly and over the next year we’ll be launching the SaaS platform. About the Team We're moving to an agile pod delivery model - small, focused teams that move fast, cut through the noise, and deliver outcomes for clients without the red tape that slows traditional consultancy down. We're at the start of that journey and we want the right people to help shape what it looks like as we scale. The team is small right now, but we're in active recruitment and quickly growing - you'll be joining at exactly the right moment to help set the standard for how we operate as we build out. Your Opportunity As a Manager at Loomera, you'll own delivery end to end. You'll get under the skin of a client's business quickly, identify the real issues, and bring clear thinking and decisive action to complex, fast-moving situations. You'll manage client relationships day to day and be the person the team and the client rely on when it matters most. You'll also play an active role in developing our analysts - coaching, guiding, and helping build the capability of the team around you. And because we're still growing, you'll have a genuine say in how Loomera operates at scale - shaping ways of working, not just following them. The managers who join us now won't just grow with the business. They'll have helped build it. How You’ll Make a Difference In this role, you will: • Manage and own end to end delivery across live M&A and consulting engagements - managing timelines, workstreams, and deliverables without losing sight of the people behind them, • Build genuine relationships with clients. Embed yourself in their teams, earn their trust and become a voice they respect and rely on, • Manage client communications and expectations with honesty and care - knowing when to push back, when to flex and always keeping the relationship intact, • Navigate stakeholder landscapes confidently - understanding who matters, what they need and how to bring the right people along at the right time, • Handle conflict when it arises - calmly, directly and with respect. Not every conversation is easy, but how you handle the difficult ones defines the relationship, • Own the preparation of client-facing materials to a consistently high standard, • Spot risks early, flag them clearly and drive resolution without waiting to be asked, • Keep a close eye on team morale as well as progress - good delivery depends on both, • Give honest, upward feedback that keeps standards high and problems visible before they become bigger ones, • Coordinate across internal pods and external advisors to keep delivery joined up and on track, • Coach and develop the analysts around you - giving clear direction, real feedback and the kind of support that actually helps people grow, • Attend client offices as and when needed, • Help shape how Loomera delivers - contributing your experience to build out our methodology, templates and ways of working as we scale You’ll Be Ideal for This Role If You: • Have at least 4 years' M&A experience with a solid understanding of the deal lifecycle, due diligence and post-merger integration, • Bring 7+ years of consulting or professional services experience, with a clear track record of growing responsibility and client-facing delivery, • Know how to build trust quickly - you embed in a client's world, listen properly, and earn your place as a respected voice in the room, • Are naturally curious - you ask the right questions, dig beneath the surface and aren't satisfied until you've got to the heart of what's really going on, • Are a natural problem solver who gets into the detail, works out what's really going on and finds a way through without waiting to be told how, • Can manage stakeholders at every level with confidence and tact - navigating difficult conversations with competing interests, and knowing when and how to say no without damaging the relationship, • Genuinely care about people - not as a line on a CV, but as something that shapes how you show up every day. With both clients and colleagues., • Are comfortable and credible at board level - you can hold the room, land key messages clearly, and produce compelling materials, • Are genuinely tech savvy - you understand how technology is reshaping business, adapt quickly to digital environments, and can hold your own in those conversations, • Thrive working autonomously - you set your own pace, manage your priorities and take ownership without being asked, • Can roll with the punches - we're a startup and things shift.
