Role: Microsoft Copilot+ Power platform Build Specialist Salary-Negotiable Location-Home based with some travel to team meets when required. Key Experience required: • Hands-on experience building solutions with Microsoft Co-pilot Studio, Power Apps, and Power Automate., • Strong understanding of Microsoft Cloud technologies - Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, and Dataverse. Familiar with pro-code platform services such as Azure AI/Foundry, Microsoft Fabric Role Details: • This role is centred on technical design, development, and delivery of next-generation solutions that transform the future of work in the AI era. The consultant will collaborate with stakeholders at all levels - from heads of business to technical teams - to solution, build, and implement robust AI and automation solutions. The focus is on translating business requirements into engineered use cases and minimum viable products (MVPs), leveraging Microsoft Cloud technologies such as Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, and Azure AI Foundry., • A critical aspect of the role is to engineer the path for customers to evolve into “Frontier Firms” - organisations that embed AI and automation at scale to enhance productivity, client value, and operational resilience. This involves moving customers from initial experimentation to the systematic integration of AI agents and assistants into daily operations, supporting construction and delivery against technical roadmaps for phased deployment which increase maturity of AI solutions., • As part of a compact, agile team and working under the direction of a senior architect/lead consultant, you will be responsible for converting both business and technical requirements into tangible, engineered solutions that deliver measurable value. You will also be expected to continuously expand your technical expertise and pursue relevant certifications., • The solutions you build will typically utilise established closed or open-source foundational models within the Microsoft ecosystem, with possible integration of advanced techniques such as multi-modal, contextual RAG, fine-tuning, MCP, and other emerging GenAI capabilities. What Success looks like: Customer Satisfaction & Confidence o Regularly interacting with customers to understand their business challenges, goals, and requirements, and effectively communicating how emerging technical solutions can address their needs. o Build trust and credibility by leading structured, value-led conversations that help customers explore and understand automation and AI opportunities, including what it means to be a “Frontier Firm”. Clear Use Case & MVP Definition o Translate customer ambition into well-defined use cases and MVPs that can be handed over to delivery teams with minimal rework, with a focus on practical, high-impact scenarios (e.g. AI assistants, workflow automation, agent-based solutions). o Delivers well‑structured demos/PoCs that meet acceptance criteria within agreed sprint timescales, enabling timely customer decisions. Effective Requirements Capture o Use structured agile frameworks (e.g. design thinking, PROSCI, etc.) to run ideation sessions and capture business and technical requirements clearly. Strategic Alignment o Ensure customer needs are aligned with Microsoft Cloud capabilities and Nasstar’s wider operating model, and help customers chart their own transformation path — recognising there’s no single blueprint for AI adoption. Proactively follows developments in the ever-evolving Data & AI space. Achieves at least one relevant Microsoft certification per year and actively shares knowledge with the team. Key Responsibilities Ideation Sessions, Requirements Capture and Use Case Definition Facilitate structured workshops to explore automation and AI opportunities. Work with stakeholders to define business needs, capture requirements, and shape them into actionable use cases. Help customers identify where they are on the “Frontier Firm” journey and what the next steps look like. Design & Build Solutions Configure, customise, and deploy AI-powered solutions using Copilot Studio, Power Platform, and related Microsoft technologies, with a particular focus on scenarios that move the customer from experimentation to systematic adoption (e.g. AI assistants, digital agents, workflow automation). Test, Iterate, and Scale Conduct solution testing, gather user feedback, and perform iterative enhancements which improve solution functionality, user experience, and drive value realisation. Enable customers and internal teams to extend, maintain, and scale delivered solutions Engage Stakeholders Across the Business Build relationships across customer organisations — from senior leadership to technical teams — and ensure alignment throughout the engagement. Documentation & Knowledge Transfer Produce clear documentation and provide handover, trainings, and adoption activities to customers or support teams. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Maths, Physics or related field, • Hands-on experience building solutions with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Apps, and Power Automate., • Strong understanding of Microsoft Cloud technologies - Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, and Dataverse. Familiar with pro-code platform services such as Azure AI/Foundry, Microsoft Fabric, • 3+ years’ commercial experience (including internships or placement year) in customer-facing consulting roles, ideally within a Microsoft Partner or similar environment., • Experience leading ideation and requirements workshops., • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum ways of working and participation in sprint ceremonies What you can expect from us: At Nasstar, we know the importance of looking after our employees – after all, it’s the team that underpins our business!
