You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure we meet operational needs while protecting commercial and financial interests.Operating within a dynamic engineering environment, you will contribute to both day-to-day delivery and strategic improvement activities. From sourcing and supplier engagement through to demand planning and inventory management, your work will directly support programme success and help shape best practice across our supply chain function.This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative team where your ideas, initiative, and impact truly matter.Role ResponsibilitiesSource suppliers and lead RFx activities, including reviewing Statements of Work, evaluating proposals, negotiating terms, and implementing contractsBuild and manage strong stakeholder relationships, understanding requirements and ensuring supplier performance aligns with programme needsMaintain ERP data and ensure procurement and contract documentation is accurate, compliant, and up to dateSupport supplier relationship management through performance monitoring, assessment, and continuous engagementMonitor supply chain risks and issues, providing clear updates and applying best practice procurement and supply chain principlesContribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including spend optimisation, forecasting, scheduling, and inventory managementCandidate RequirementsEssential:Relevant qualification or equivalent professional experience in supply chain, procurement, or a related fieldExperience building and managing strong supplier relationshipsProven ability to negotiate and manage subcontractsUnderstanding of supply chain operations, including Purchase-to-Pay processesExperience procuring professional and technical servicesPreferred:CIPS qualification or currently working towards itKnowledge of import and export controls, including US export regulationsIf you meet most, but not all, of the criteria, we still encourage you to apply.
