We are looking for a Senior Community, Participation and Volunteering Manager for the Bristol Property Group. This new role sits within an Ending Unequal Access prioritised property group and will work as part of the Property Leadership Team. The role will lead the development of the Community, Participation and Volunteering offer across the property group and reach outwards into our local communities including Bristol and across North Somerset to broaden our community participation and engagement. The role is full time and will require regular weekend and bank holiday working. The role includes rotational property group duty management responsibilities. What it's like to work here The 70-strong team at this spectacular Victorian gothic house have ambitious plans for growth over the next few years. Tyntesfield’s excellent location just outside of Bristol means there is great scope to develop the visitor experience to this vast estate, and the team are encouraged to be forward thinking and creative in their approach. There is a strong sustainability focus at the property with working kitchen gardens that produce delicious produce for the café and restaurant. What you'll be doing You will be working in collaboration with property leadership team members, internal and external consultants and members of the local community, developing a plan for community, participation and involvement. You will be supporting the development of our current volunteer offer and you will also be a key member of the property group leadership team. Who we're looking for Applications from redeployees are assessed against the minimum criteria for the role. In your application, please provide details of how you meet the minimum criteria below: • Excellent understanding of good practice in community engagement and participatory practice, and experience of applying it in a range of contexts., • Excellent understanding of volunteer engagement and experience of innovating volunteering and increasing wider participation, • Think strategically and demonstrate strong analytical skills.
