We assist all employers when they want to source public safety and enterprise security skills and experience.\n \n 4 x Intelligence Analysts\n Location: Birmingham\n Pay Rate: £170 per day\n Contract: 6 months+\n Working Pattern: Shift-based (including early mornings, late evenings and weekends) due to the shift patterns you should have access to own vehicle \n Vetting Requirement: SC Clearance (must be eligible)\n\nAbout the Role\n We are seeking an experienced and highly analytical Intelligence Analyst to join a dynamic intelligence function on a contract basis.\n This is a critical role where you will deliver high-quality analytical products to support decision-making at strategic, tactical, and operational levels. You will provide insight into threats, risks, and vulnerabilities, helping shape responses to complex challenges.\n This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong analytical expertise, experience working with complex datasets, and the ability to operate effectively in high-pressure environments.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n Analysis & Intelligence Development\n\nConduct strategic, tactical, and operational analysis using a range of analytical techniques\nIdentify patterns, trends, and intelligence gaps to inform decision-making\nAssess threat, risk, and harm, providing clear recommendations\nDevelop and contribute to intelligence collection plans\nMaintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging trends and risksStrategic Support & Advisory\n\nProvide expert analytical advice to support prioritisation and resource allocation\nIdentify key priorities using structured risk assessment approaches\nDeliver insights to senior stakeholders to guide operational activity\nSupport governance processes to ensure a coordinated response to threatsStakeholder Engagement\n\nBuild and maintain effective relationships with internal teams and external partners\nPrepare and deliver high-quality briefings and presentations\nTranslate complex data into clear, actionable insights\nWork closely with investigators to interpret and develop evidential materialOperational & Evidential Support\n\nProduce analytical products to support investigations and operational activity\nPrepare evidence and, where required, present findings in formal settings\nProvide detailed analytical support to serious and complex casesMonitoring & Evaluation\n\nConduct horizon scanning and environmental analysis\nDeliver detailed reports identifying emerging risks and opportunities\nCommunicate findings, hypotheses, and recommendations clearlyAbout You\n Essential Experience & Knowledge\n\nAbout You\nEssential Experience & Knowledge\n Degree level in relevant subject or equivalent qualification or experience within a similar environment\n\nExperience as an Intelligence Analyst within a law enforcement agency (LEA)\n· Experience of collating, evaluating, structuring and processing data to identify patterns, series, similarities and discrepancies within a variety of information types\n\n·Ability to use software packages in the charting and analytical preparation of data\n\n· Evidence of working with, Interpreting & simplifying complex data sets\n Highly competent in the use of Microsoft packages, advanced skills in Microsoft Excel\n\nEvidence a good understanding of the requirements of the National Intelligence Model (NIM)\nUnderstanding of, and ability to apply, relevant legislation (i.e ECHR, RIPA, Data Protection)\nExperience of working within a team and on own initiative, effectively planning and organising activities and resources to meet objectivesDesirable\n\nExperience working in an intelligence or analytical role\nKnowledge of crime trends, risk modelling, or investigative environments\nExperience using specialist analytical tools (e.g. data visualisation or mapping software)\nUnderstanding of the distinction between analysis, policy, and decision-making\n\nDue to the high volume of applications we receive, if you do not hear from us within 7 working days, your application has been unsuccessful.\n \n If this role is not for you but you do know somebody who would be interested, please feel free to refer them to us!
