SENCO - Primary School\n Location: Lewisham, South East London\n Pay: Competitive daily rate (dependent on experience)\n Start: ASAP - Until Summer Term\n Contract: 4-5 days per week, term time only\n\nRemedy Education are currently recruiting for an experienced and dedicated SENCO to join a supportive primary school in Lewisham on a short-term basis until the end of the summer term.\n\nThis is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified professional to lead and manage SEND provision, ensuring all pupils receive the support they need to succeed.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs SENCO, you will:\n\nLead and manage the school's SEND provision\n\nSupport pupils with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and learning difficulties\n\nOversee and review EHCPs, IEPs and provision plans\n\nWork closely with teachers, support staff and external agencies\n\nProvide guidance and training to staff on inclusive teaching strategies\n\nMonitor pupil progress and ensure interventions are effective\n\nSupport safeguarding and promote a fully inclusive school environment\n\nRequirements\n\nThe ideal candidate will have:\n\nQualified Teacher Status (QTS)\n\nNational Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCO) or working towards it\n\nProven experience working as a SENCO within a primary school\n\nStrong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice\n\nExperience managing EHCP processes and multi-agency working\n\nExcellent leadership, communication and organisational skills\n\nThis role can be offered on a 4 or 5 day per week basis, providing flexibility while still allowing you to make a meaningful impact.\n\nIf you are a passionate SENCO looking for your next opportunity, we would love to hear from you.\n\nIf you have any questions please call (phone number removed) or ask for Dylan at Remedy Education
