Role: Property ParalegalLocation: Leeds, West YorkshireContract: Full time, permanent, hybridSalary: £26,000A long-established, full-service UK law firm with offices across England and Wales is seeking a Property Paralegal to join its highly regarded Property Securitisation team in Leeds. With approximately 350 employees nationwide, the firm advises a broad client base including major corporate, housing associations, charities, regulators, developers, investors, and private clients. The firm has experienced sustained growth in recent years and continues to expand its national profile. The property team is recognised as a leading practice in the affordable housing sector and advises on high-value, complex transactions. The Role This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented Property Paralegal, ideally with conveyancing experience, to join a busy and high-performing team. The role will involve supporting Partners and Solicitors on large-scale property securitisation transactions, often involving substantial property portfolios and complex funding arrangements. You will also have responsibility for managing your own caseload of transactional matters under supervision. This position would suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can prioritise competing deadlines, and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team. Key Responsibilities Duties will include (but are not limited to): • Assisting with property due diligence on large-scale transactions, • Identifying and reviewing registered and unregistered titles, • Obtaining and reviewing Official Copy Entries and Land Registry documentation, • Undertaking title checks and reporting on title issues, • Conducting property searches and liaising with Local Authorities and third parties, • Managing pre-completion searches and post-completion Land Registry formalities, • Chasing outstanding documentation and progressing matters proactively, • Supporting the coordination and delivery of significant property transactions, • Providing progress updates to clients and fee earners, • Assisting with file management and transaction tracking, • Supporting other paralegals within the team where required, • Previous experience in a property or conveyancing-focused role, • Strong drafting and legal research skills, • Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability, • Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), • Clear and professional communication skills, including the ability to explain matters in plain English, • Client-focused with a strong service ethic, • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritise effectively, • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, • Experience dealing with high-volume residential or commercial conveyancing matters, • Familiarity with Land Registry processes and post-completion formalities, • CRA Consulting are a specialist legal recruiter, operating across the UK.
