We have Mechanical Design Engineer opportunities for Design Engineers across a number of key areas of our business to include Nuclear Primary Components Secondary Propulsion Components In-Service Support and Maintenance Special Purpose Tooling and Equipment as well as our Future Product division. What you will be doing: As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer you will be creating component / assembly / systems designs and associated through-life justification that meet their requirements and product attributes of life cost availability and safety margins. • Creating Full Life Cycle Design solutions through concept design manufacture operation and disposal, • Integrating cross-discipline engineering concepts collaborating across manufacturing engineering simulation materials testing and supply chain functions., • Documenting and verifying information against sound mechanical engineering practices and references., • Presenting at technical reviews in front of peers and expert panels., • Publishing safety and technical reports which are subjected to customer and regulatory scrutiny.
