A leading investment manager is seeking to hire an Associate into its Investment team as part of continued growth across its UK and European portfolios. With approximately €6bn AUM, the fund invests across a broad range of Infrastructure and Energy verticals. As deal activity continues to accelerate, the fund is looking to add a high-calibre Associate who will play a key role in transaction execution, portfolio management, and investment analysis across new and existing assets. Title: Associate – Infrastructure Investments Location: London (Hybrid) Contract: Full Time, Permanent What You’ll Do Investment Analysis & Execution • Support the end-to-end execution of infrastructure and energy investments across the UK and Europe, • Build and review complex financial models, including valuation, sensitivity analysis, and investment returns, • Conduct commercial, financial, and technical due diligence alongside external advisors, • Assist in structuring equity investments and negotiating key commercial terms, • Coordinate with legal, financial, and technical advisors through transaction processes, • Assist with monitoring portfolio company performance against business plans, • Support asset management initiatives, including strategic reviews, refinancing, and bolt-on acquisitions, • Conduct thematic and sector research across infrastructure and energy verticals, • Support origination efforts through market mapping and screening of new opportunities What You’ll Bring • 4–6 years’ experience in an infrastructure or energy-focused investment role, or as an Associate within a Infrastructure/Energy Investment Banking or Advisory team, • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with experience across equity investments, • Solid understanding of infrastructure and energy assets, capital structures, and risk assessment, • Experience working across transactions in the UK and/or European markets, • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present clearly to senior stakeholders, • Commercial mindset, intellectual curiosity, and a collaborative approach to teamwork Why Join • Opportunity to invest across a diversified infrastructure and energy portfolio, • Exposure to mid-market transactions with meaningful responsibility, • Collaborative investment culture with direct access to senior decision-makers, • Competitive compensation package, including base salary and discretionary bonus, • Hybrid working model and long-term career progression within a growing platform Base Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 Bonus: 30% Plus full benefits package.
