The primary responsibilities include:, • Placing parts in the correct order, and then bolting, clipping, screwing, or cementing them together based on product specifications., • Performing tests to ensure that both electric and gas equipment models are functioning properly., • Ensures that metal products have a smooth, finished surface. Remove defects such as dents and scratches from metal surfaces using various hand and power tools. The key responsibilities include:, • Determining the type of grinding needed based on blueprints., • Operating tools like belt grinders, carbide burrs, and cartridge rolls to finish the product., • Using grinders to smooth out rough welds and polish corners., • Applying caulk to meet quality standards., • Moving the finished product to the packing area., • Sets up and operates various machines to fabricate metal products, including cutoff saws, shears, and presses., • Reads and interprets blueprints and engineering plans to accurately lay out, cut, fit, and weld stainless steel., • Inspects sheet metal for imperfections, makes corrections, and ensures the quality of the finished product before it moves on.
