This position will provide support for patients, visitors, staff and providers through the greeting, directing, registration process, as well as through duties as phone receptionist. Assists in basic patient service functions, as deemed necessary. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Answer telephone calls, provide information and/or route calls according to procedures., • Efficiently check patients in upon their arrival and departure., • Schedule patient transportation services, • Coordinates all scheduling of office visits, prepares and enters demographic registration data into computer system., • Facilitate patient flow by notifying the clinical staff of patient arrival, being aware of delays and communicating such with patients and clinical staff., • Excellent customer service skills and experience., • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment., • Must be able to work with computers and thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office., • Outstanding communication skills - verbal and written., • Must be fluent in spoken and written English/Spanish., • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, staff, patients and visitors., • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication to deliver a pleasant patient experience.
