Job DescriptionDescription:Direct Support Professional (DSP)/ lead Caregiver – Day Program & Transportation Location: Cincinnati, OH Pay: Starting at $18.00 per hour Schedule: Part-Time | Flexible Hours Agency: 360 Total Care Position Overview 360 Total Care is seeking a reliable, community-focused Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support adults with developmental disabilities through community integration, transportation, and daily support services. This role requires local driving, active community engagement, and hands-on support for individuals with a wide range of needs, including individuals who are non-verbal, wheelchair users, independent, or who require assistance with personal care and medications. A 90-day performance review will be conducted, with a 1–2% wage increase based on performance, attendance, and compliance. Travel Requirement: • Local driving required throughout Cincinnati, Ohio and surrounding areas, • Must be comfortable transporting participants dailySchedule & Hours, • Part-time, flexible schedule, • Shifts may start as early as 7:00 a.m. and end as late as 4:00 p.m., • Weekly hours vary based on participant attendance:, • Some weeks: ~20 hours, • Some weeks: up to 40 hours, • Staffing ratios:, • Community-based services: 4 participants to 1 staff (4:1), • Facility-based ADS: Larger ratios may apply Key ResponsibilitiesCommunity Integration, • Spend approximately 5 hours per day supporting participants in the community, • Facilitate meaningful activities such as:, • Volunteering, • Social and recreational outings, • Skill-building and relationship development, • Advocate for participant rights, dignity, and inclusion, • Create weekly activity schedules, • Network with community partners, employers, and organizations, • Build positive relationships with community members ., • Transportation Services, • Safely transport participants to and from:, • Day Habilitation Center, • Residential homes, • Community activities and appointments, • Operate wheelchair-accessible vans and vehicles (when available), • Assist with:, • Boarding and exiting vehicles, • Securing wheelchairs and safety equipment, • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, • Maintain clean, safe vehicles, • Accurately complete mileage logs and transportation documentation, • Follow all transportation policies and safety procedures, • Direct Care & Support, • Support individuals who may be:, • Non-verbal, • Wheelchair users, • Independent, • Requiring bathroom assistance and brief changes, • Requiring medication assistance or administration, • Follow Individual Service Plans (ISPs) and behavior support strategies, • Maintain participant dignity, privacy, and safety at all times, • Work independently while ensuring consistent supervisionDocumentation & Compliance, • Complete daily documentation accurately and on time, • Review ISPs and attend ISP meetings as required, • Enter ISP goals, tasks, and schedules into the electronic system, • Create and maintain weekly activity calendars, • Report incidents immediately per protocol, • High school diploma or GED preferred, • Valid Ohio Driver’s License, • Acceptable driving record per agency insurance, • Ability to lift, transfer, and assist individuals safely, • Ability to work independently and reliably, • Strong attendance and punctuality required All required training is available FREE through dodd.ohio.gov Required trainings include (but are not limited to): • Direct Support Professional Orientation, • CPR & First Aid (Red Cross) or (360 Certified instructor), • Medication Administration Certification (if assisting with medications), • Abuse, Neglect & Exploitation (MUI/UI Reporting), • Individual Rights, • Person-Centered Planning, • Incident Reporting & Documentation, • Infection Control, • Emergency Procedures, • HIPAA & Confidentiality, • Positive Behavior Support & De-escalation, • Transportation Safety & Wheelchair Securement, • New hires will be given time to complete required training in accordance with DODD timelines and agency policy.Background & Eligibility, • Must pass BCI & FBI background checks, • Must meet all DODD provider eligibility standards, • Flexible schedule, • Meaningful community-based work, • Paid training opportunities, • Supportive team environment, • Opportunity for growth within the agency
