Job DescriptionDescription: The Assistant Patient Support Team Manager (APSTM) is responsible for overseeing the front office positions (Greeter, PCC & Biller) to ensure the smooth flow of the clinic’s operations at peak efficiency. They provide exceptional customer service to all patients and team members. Responsibilities and Duties • Assist in the welcoming patients, scheduling, insurance verification and collection of payment from patients., • Coordinate/lead (alongside DOM) team of Greeters, PCCs and Billers., • Create the weekly team schedule according to team members’ availability., • Open/close building (alarm security system), ensure all team members leave first (this is a shared responsibility amongst ADOMs & APSTM (front assistant manager))., • Assist in completion of daily/weekly/monthly checklists for each role to ensure the clinic is operating efficiently., • Hold biweekly meetings for members of the front office team., • High School diploma or equivalent. Secondary education is a plus., • 1-3 years’ experience in a dental office – i.e. front desk, billing, or patient care coordination., • Proven dedication to provide high quality, comprehensive dental care., • Ability to comply with safety procedures, rules, and regulations in order to maintain a clean and safe working environment., • Working knowledge of dental terminology, equipment, and practices., • CPR training and/or certification is a plus., • Good computer skills., • Excellent communication and people skills., • Attention to detail.
