Job Description Summary: Horizon Tool/Solvera Labs is seeking a strong, results-driven leader to oversee our compounding department. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for managing compounding operations and ensuring all products are produced to specification while maintaining a strong commitment to quality. This role requires proven leadership skills to lead, train, and develop a team of 8-12 compounders in a dynamic production environment. Qualification Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent, • Strong organizational and time management skills, • Experience in manufacturing or liquid blending in food and or pharmaceutical environment a plus but not required, • cGMP and or ISO 22716 a plus, • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, • Proficient in basic math and computer skills, • Strong communication and teamwork skills, • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, • 3-5 years of leadership experience, • Strong organizational and time management skills, • Experience in manufacturing or liquid blending in food and or pharmaceutical environment a plus, • Proficient in basic math and computer skills, • Able to work in a fast-paced team environment, • Ensures the accurate weighing, verification, and proper documentation of raw materials used in product formulation in accordance with established specifications and procedures, • Oversees the handling and usage of raw materials, ensuring correct quantities are issued, recorded, and reconciled within batch records, • Ensures compounding vessels and mixing equipment are properly prepared, set up, and operated in accordance with established procedures, • Supervises and verifies that raw materials are correctly loaded and that mixing processes are executed consistently and within defined parameters, • Ensures finished products are properly sampled, tested, and verified prior to release, with all required documentation completed accurately, • Monitors production activities to ensure compliance with quality standards, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements, • Maintains a safe, clean, and organized work environment, ensuring adherence to all safety and GMP guidelines, • Ensures cleaning and changeover of mixing equipment is completed effectively and in compliance with established procedures, • Oversees the monitoring, calibration, and preventive maintenance of compounding and support equipment to ensure optimal performance, • Leads, trains, and develops a team of 8-12 compounders, ensuring accountability, performance, and adherence to company standards, • Prolonged standing, • Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, • Production environment, • Fast-paced, deadline-driven, • Will be exposed to noise and temperature variations Salary commensurate with experience.
