The Position We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Salesforce Administrator to lead the day-to-day management, optimization, and continuous improvement of PCNA’s Salesforce environment, including Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. This role ensures Salesforce remains a stable, secure, and scalable platform that enables Sales, Service, and Leadership teams to work efficiently and make data-driven decisions. The Salesforce Administrator will oversee configuration, data integrity, user support, and analytics while partnering with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement. The ideal candidate combines deep Salesforce expertise with strong communication and problem-solving skills to translate business needs into effective, scalable solutions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys troubleshooting and problem-solving, and is passionate about enabling teams through technology. Key Responsibilities • Configure and maintain core Salesforce components, including objects, fields, page layouts, record types, picklists, validation rules, duplicate rules, permission sets, and profiles., • Build and optimize Flows (record-triggered, scheduled, and screen flows), assignment and escalation rules, Email-to-Case, queues, SLAs/Entitlements, Knowledge, and Omni-Channel/CTI as applicable., • Manage Sales Cloud functionality—including Leads, Accounts/Contacts, Opportunities, Products, Price Books, and related custom objects—to support sales processes and forecasting., • Design and maintain Reports and Dashboards for executives and teams, ensuring consistent metrics, naming standards, and folder governance., • Monitor and improve data quality, defining metrics, standardizing definitions, and eliminating report duplication., • Administer user access and security to our 600+ users, including provisioning/deprovisioning, roles, permission sets, SSO/MFA, sharing rules, and field-level security., • Perform regular system audits, reviewing login history, failed logins, and access settings to maintain compliance., • Deliver training and documentation, including new-hire onboarding, release updates, quick guides, and recorded demos to promote adoption and self-service., • Provide Tier 1/Tier 2 user support, triaging issues via tickets or Teams/email, debugging Flows and automation, and coordinating fixes with developers or IT as needed., • Monitor platform health, including failed automations, integration errors, email bounces, and storage limits., • Perform bulk data imports/updates using Data Loader or Inspector; manage duplicates, validation, and picklist consistency., • Partner with business owners on lifecycle processes (Lead → Opportunity → Order), compliance (GDPR/CPRA/CAN-SPAM), and data retention policies., • Manage sandbox strategy and deployment process, supporting UAT, refresh cadences, and Change Set/SFDX deployments., • Document configuration changes, maintain the backlog, and publish release notes for transparency and traceability., • Support connected systems including Outlook, APIs, Named Credentials, and other integrations; monitor endpoints and renew credentials as needed., • Strong hands-on experience with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud administration., • Expertise in Flow Builder, validation rules, data model design, and security/sharing architecture., • Skilled in Reports & Dashboards, Data Loader/Inspector, and basic SOQL for troubleshooting., • Familiarity with Service Cloud capabilities, including Cases, Queues, Email-to-Case, Knowledge, Entitlements, and Omni-Channel/CTI., • Strong understanding of Lead management, assignment rules, conversion processes, and Opportunity pipeline/forecasting., • Working knowledge of change control, sandbox/UAT practices, and deployment methods (Change Sets; SFDX/Git a plus)., • Clear, concise communicator with strong documentation and stakeholder management skills., • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)., • 5+ years of experience administering Salesforce for Sales and/or Service teams., • Salesforce Administrator (ADM-201) certification required; Advanced Admin or Service Cloud Consultant preferred., • Proven success maintaining data quality, building reports/dashboards, and supporting 500–1,000+ users., • Experience delivering end-user training and supporting ticket SLAs in a fast-paced environment.
