Job DescriptionHigh-Autonomy Operator | Systems Builder | Force Multiplier We’re scaling fast — from ~$5M in revenue toward $15–20M in the next 2–3 years, fueled by enterprise engagements with the top IVD manufacturers in the world. For a small team, we punch way above our weight. RDI has become the go-to CRO for large public diagnostics companies who rely on our creativity, tech-forward systems, and zero-excuses accountability to get trials done quickly and done right. We’re a fully integrated IVD CRO — a high-complexity CLIA lab, a technology-enabled CRO, and a national physician + lab network under one roof. This lets us run clinical trials with a level of speed and operational precision the industry isn’t used to. We’ve been doing this for over a decade. Founded in 2008, professionalized in 2017, and expanded aggressively through 2022–2024, built on a physician network sourced from real insurance claims data and strengthened by CAP accreditation. You’re joining at the exact right moment. We’re a lean, high-velocity team (~20 people) hitting the “design → run → scale” phase — the point where the right systems and the right leaders change the entire trajectory of the company. We are hiring a Founder’s Executive Partner — someone who operates at the intersection of execution, judgment, and system design. This isn’t an admin role. You’ll move lockstep with the CEO across a wide range of work — because his operating level changes hour-to-hour. One minute it’s an office leak, the next it’s lender negotiations or board-level strategy. You’re expected to follow that arc without flinching. No problem is too big or too small, and titles don’t matter in the real world — outcomes do. If you get energy from solving hard problems quickly, creating structure in motion, and operating at the center of a fast-growing company, you’ll thrive here. What You’ll Do1. Run the CEO’s Operating System • Oversee the CEO’s inbox as a decision engine, not a clerical task:, • Triage, interpret, and categorize inbound messages so the CEO only sees what truly requires his involvement., • Draft responses, close loops, and drive decisions forward independently., • Flag risks, opportunities, and patterns — summarize, don’t forward., • Maintain context across threads so work isn’t lost or repeated., • Make decisions that protect time, remove noise, and keep the CEO focused on top priorities., • Translate chaos into structured plans, actions, and follow-through.2. Anticipate Needs Before They Appear, • Monitor priorities, dependencies, and organizational bottlenecks., • Identify issues early, escalate the right ones, and handle the rest independently., • Build buffers, prep materials, and surface blind spots.3. Execute Cross-Functional Work, • Coordinate directly with clients, partners, vendors, and internal leads., • Gather and synthesize the right information quickly., • Ensure decisions are unblocked and commitments are delivered.4. Build and Maintain Systems, • Create workflows, templates, processes, and dashboards that scale., • Introduce structure where none exists; remove steps that don’t matter., • Improve the speed and reliability of how the company runs.5. Represent the CEO, • Join meetings, take notes, document decisions, and drive next steps., • Draft emails, communications, and documents with clarity and polish., • Act as a steady, professional extension of leadership. What This Role Is NOT • It is not an office manager role., • It is not a receptionist or task-runner. What the Right Person Looks Like • High cognitive load capacity — can juggle 20+ threads without dropping them., • Exceptional written and verbal communication., • Bias for action and sound judgment with incomplete information., • Comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities., • Extreme ownership — no loose ends., • High emotional intelligence — can manage up, down, and sideways., • Systems mindset — you improve the machine, not just run it., • Experience supporting a founder, CEO, COO, or senior operator preferred., • Experience with Salesforce or similar systems a plus. What Success Looks Like • The CEO’s time is protected and focused., • Priorities are clear, communicated, and executed., • Meetings drive outcomes., • Communication is crisp, professional, and proactive., • Issues are handled before they appear., • The company runs smoother because of you. Why This Role Matters RDI is scaling quickly — doubling revenue, expanding capabilities, and building infrastructure that most CROs take years to build. This role sits at the center of that momentum. You will operate as the CEO’s right hand and an extension of leadership — helping a high-autonomy, high-intensity company move faster, make better decisions, and build systems that scale. Requirements • 5+ years of executive support or operations experience., • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail., • Ability to simplify complexity into clear, actionable next steps., • Strong tech fluency: Excel, Word, Google Docs; Salesforce a plus., • Comfort in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with shifting priorities., • Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision), • Retirement Plan (401k, IRA), • Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D), • Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays)
