Job Description Position Overview We are seeking an HVAC Service Sales Representative to drive growth and profitability in the Asheville market. This role is responsible for initiating, developing, and maintaining long-term service relationships, uncovering new customer opportunities, and expanding service agreements. The ideal candidate has sales experience in mechanical services, excellent presentation skills, and the ability to position our team as the trusted partner of choice. Benefits Overview • Competitive weekly pay, • Comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, vision, free telehealth & more), • 401(k) retirement plan with 5% company match, • Life insurance, short- and long-term disability, • Paid time off (up to 4 weeks) + 9 paid holidays (+ Veterans Day for veterans), • Career development programs, including industry training and education assistance, • $2,500 referral bonus, • Role-specific perks: company vehicle or allowance, mobile phone, uniforms, and work boot & pants allowance Key Responsibilities • Identify, target, and qualify prospective new customers through a disciplined sales process, • Contact and schedule appointments with prospective customers, • Build and maintain a referral network to uncover new opportunities, • Conduct sales calls to identify customer challenges with HVAC, ventilation, and control system operations, • Propose tailored solutions with a focus on renewable maintenance agreements, sustainability, and digital service offerings, • Present and finalize proposals, securing customer commitment, • Conduct customer kick-off meetings, resolve issues, and create pull-through opportunities, • Maintain and extend service agreements while supporting the collections process, • Keep management informed of progress and account status using CRM and reporting tools, • Develop and implement territory marketing plans aligned with business strategy Accountabilities • Ongoing professional development through company-sponsored training to remain at the forefront of industry expertise, • Deliver elite customer service to ensure we remain the first call for HVAC and refrigeration needs Qualifications • 2–3 years of progressive sales experience, • Aptitude for technical knowledge with strong attention to detail, • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to engage both individuals and groups, • Experience selling service and maintenance agreements, • Exposure to sales methodologies, standards, and disciplines, • Knowledge of building HVAC systems Behavioral & Technical Skills • Strong written and verbal communication abilities, • Solid math skills (rate, ratio, percentage, graphs), • Ability to problem-solve and manage multiple tasks effectively, • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and attention to detail Work Environment & Physical Demands • Field-based role requiring travel to multiple customer sites daily, • Regular standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, and crawling, • Frequent lifting of up to 25 lbs; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs, • Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
