We are looking for a skilled Senior Manager Inventory and Logistics to join our team in Huntington Beach. This is an on-site position based in Huntington Beach. JOB SUMMARY The Senior Manager, Inventory and Logistics is responsible for the leadership, strategy, and execution of inventory management, warehouse operations, receiving, packaging, and outbound logistics. This role oversees the Manager, Warehouse and Manager, Logistics positions and ensures alignment across stockroom, inventory control, and shipping functions to support production and customer delivery requirements. This position drives inventory accuracy, material flow efficiency, safe and compliant transportation practices, and continuous improvement initiatives. The Senior Manager partners cross-functionally with Operations, Planning, Quality, and Finance to achieve company objectives related to safety, quality, delivery, cost, and inventory performance. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions • Provide strategic leadership and oversight to Warehouse and Logistics departments, including receiving, stockroom, packaging, and shipping operations., • Lead and develop department managers and staff to achieve organizational goals, strengthen bench strength, and support succession planning., • Represent Supply Chain leadership in cross-functional meetings and executive reviews., • Establish and execute strategic plans for inventory control, material flow, warehousing, and transportation., • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across inventory and logistics functions using Lean principles and data-driven decision-making., • Develop and manage departmental budgets, including freight spend and warehouse operational costs., • Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for inventory accuracy, warehouse productivity, on-time shipment, freight cost, and space utilization., • Oversee inbound and outbound freight operations, including carrier selection, routing optimization, packaging compliance, and on-time delivery performance., • Ensure full compliance with import and export regulations, partnering with internal stakeholders and external brokers to maintain adherence to U.S. and international trade laws, documentation requirements, and recordkeeping standards., • Ensure compliance with company quality standards, packaging specifications, and regulatory requirements., • Oversee ERP/MRP system integrity related to inventory transactions, receiving, and shipping accuracy., • Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle count programs, root cause analysis, and corrective actions., • Partner with Operations and Material Planning to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials aligned with the master production schedule., • Ensure proper scrap disposition processes and maintain revision control integrity within inventory., • Maintain a safe, secure and legal work environment, adhering to all Company policies and procedures., • Protect the confidentiality of the Company’s information and products. Education: • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics management within a manufacturing environment., • Strong leadership capability with demonstrated success in team development and performance management., • Comprehensive knowledge of inventory control, warehousing, transportation, and ERP/MRP systems., • Experience overseeing trade compliance, including import/export regulations (ITAR, EAR), customs documentation, and broker management., • Strong analytical and financial acumen, including KPI development, data analysis, and cost control., • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills., • Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving abilities., • Ability to effectively interface and influence across all levels of the organization., • Experience with Lean and continuous improvement methodologies. LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITY • Provides direct supervision to Manager, Warehouse and Manager, Logistics, and indirect leadership to warehouse, receiving, inventory, packaging, and shipping personnel., • Responsible for departmental performance, employee development, succession planning, and adherence to organizational goals, operating policies, and budgetary guidelines., • Develops and implements solutions to complex operational and inventory challenges. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. The base pay offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, experience and take into account internal equity.
