Job Description 6 month contract (huge opportunity to extended or even convert to full time with the client) for a Senior IBM Integration Engineer (DataPower/ACE) role with a leading client in Nashville, TN area. Title: IBM Integration Engineer (DataPower/ACE) Location: Downtown- Nashville, TN Workplace type: 100% onsite (M-F, 40 hour work week)+ may need weekend shifts Shift: M-F 8AM to 5 PM, some weekend production deployment (maybe 1-2 times a month). A typical specialty analyst/developer is responsible for designing software or customizing software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. Job Responsibilities: • Modify existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance., • Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints., • Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met., • Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design., • Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan computer specifications and layouts, and peripheral equipment modifications., • Obtain and evaluate information on factors such as reporting formats required, costs, and security needs to determine hardware configuration., • Consult with customers about software system design and maintenance., • Confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others to design system and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces.
