About the Role The Office & Engagement Coordinator is a highly visible team member supporting the office, HR coordination, employee engagement, and administrative/finance operations. This person will work onsite daily and act as a welcoming, trusted resource for both employees and leadership. Key Responsibilities Human Resources & Employee Support (Approx. 25-50%) • Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes, • Coordinate interviews and onsite candidate experiences, • Assist employees with general HR questions (PTO, policies, forms, etc.), • Maintain confidential documentation and support compliance activities, • Assist HR and leadership with internal communication and employee touchpointsAdministrative & Finance Support (Approx. 50%), • Assist with invoicing, client billing, and expense tracking (training provided), • Support leadership with scheduling, communication, and meeting coordination, • Manage office operations including supplies, vendor communication, and logistics, • Maintain accurate records, tracking, and internal documentation, • Provide project coordination support for ongoing initiativesCulture, Engagement & Events, • Plan and execute office events (holiday parties, celebrations, appreciation activities), • Coordinate engagement initiatives such as mixers, book clubs, team-building, or themed office days, • Support cross-team collaboration and a warm, connected employee culture, • Assist with volunteer events, family-friendly activities, and community involvementRequired Qualifications, • Experience in a corporate or professional services environment (engineering, energy, consulting, architecture, etc.), • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, • Warm, outgoing, and approachable personality, • Professional presence and strong attention to detail, • Demonstrated job stability in previous roles, • Ability to multitask in a structured, onsite environment, • Active LinkedIn profile that aligns with résuméPreferred (Not Required), • Background in HR, office administration, or engagement roles, • Experience with invoicing, billing systems, or administrative software, • Bachelor's degree, • Event planning or culture program coordination experienceWork Environment & Schedule, • Fully onsite in West Houston, • 9/80 schedule (every other Friday off!), • Flexible arrival window: 5:30 AM-9:00 AM, • Must be onsite during core hours: 9:00 AM-3:00 PM, • Onsite perks include: gym access, snacks, coffee, and a collaborative workspaceCompensation & Benefits, • $60,000-$70,000 salary range, • Background check & drug screen required, • Open to Direct Hire or Temp-to-HirePay Details: $60,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year Search managed by: Laarnie Thompson Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
