About the Role
Join our team as a Care Assistant and help service users live independently in their homes. Your responsibilities will include providing daily care, assisting with food and fluids, supporting mobility, and managing personal care needs. You will also engage in domestic cleaning and use necessary equipment such as hoists and stand aids. Maintaining mental health is a key focus.
Training and Support
No prior industry experience is required. If you have cared for a loved one, that experience is valuable. We provide comprehensive in-house training.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality, person-centred care
- Assist with personal care and mobility
- Use equipment like hoists and stand aids
- Maintain records accurately, requiring good verbal and written skills
- Work various shifts, as we operate 7 days a week, from 6 am to 11 pm
Requirements
- Compassionate, friendly, and a team player
- Car driver/owner is essential
- NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is a plus, but not required; enrollment in an NVQ course is available after probation
- Must be reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Good understanding of confidentiality
- Satisfactory references and a DBS check are mandatory before employment
