• Assist with planning, preparing and delivering quality play opportunities within a safe and caring environment., • Providing comprehensive care for the children including collecting them from school and, • delivering them safely to parents or carers., • Setting up the play space including moving furniture and play equipment., • Providing refreshments and ensuring that hygiene, health and safety standards are met., • Administering first aid when necessary., • Consulting with children and involving them in planning activities., • Helping with club administration, where necessary., • Encouraging parental involvement in the club., • Facilitating good communication with all members of the organisation, parents, and schools., • Undertaking appropriate and relevant training., • Keeping the work environment healthy, safe and secure., • Working within the framework of the club’s policies and procedures

We are looking for a nursery assistant to support the children in the group. It is a small group of children in a home away from home atmosphere setting. the work includes stimulating the children, keep them happy and safe and get them ready for their next step.

Level 3 - Early Years Educator Apprenticeship Our nurseries are based in Edgware only a 5-minute walk from Edgware Station. We will help you train to become a Childcare Practitioner whilst working in our nurseries. All you need is good English verbal skills and a love for children to join our amazing team. You do not require to have any experience, GSCE Maths and English to apply for this positing.

Shannon ChildCare are seeking a fun and creative Nursery Practitioner, that is passionate about working with children, to join our friendly team in our Outstanding Nurseries. The successful applicant will be required to live local to Edgware (HA8). It is essential you hold a minimum Level 3 or Equivalent in Childcare. The nursery is open Monday to Friday from 8am-6pm, 49 weeks per year. We are closed 1 week in August and 2 weeks in December (paid). You will be required to work 30 hours per week between the hours of 8am to 6pm on a shift basis (1hr break). We are situated in easy walking distance to public transport and shops (Edgware Station). Key Objectives: To be a reliable member of the nursery team working co-operatively and with flexibility Showing initiative and creativity to foster an environment, which encourages the children’s all round development.

As part of your duties, you'll assist in creating a safe and nurturing environment for children, helping with daily routines, and engaging them in educational and fun activities. Your responsibilities will include: • Supervising and ensuring the safety of children at all times., • Assisting with meal preparation and snack times., • Organizing and participating in recreational activities such as games and crafts., • Supporting the development of children's social and cognitive skills through interactive play and learning., • Maintaining a clean and organized childcare environment. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about working with children, has excellent communication skills, and is able to work collaboratively with other team members. Prior experience in childcare is beneficial but not essential, as training will be provided.
