Brimpton House Nursery \n\n Room Leader | Full Time | 40 Hours Per Week \n\n Salary: £27,955.20 + Qualification Bonus: We value the dedication and expertise of our Level 3 Practitioners. (based on a 40hr working week, bonus will be pro-rota for part time staff) \n\n Brimpton House is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Room Leader to join the team and inspire creativity and excellence every day. This position is based in our toddler room for children aged 2 to 2.5 years. \n\n The room has up to 9 children daily, where we follow individual interests and create a warm, home-like atmosphere. As Room Leader, you will collaborate closely with other rooms to ensure smooth and positive transitions across the setting, contributing to a nurturing and welcoming environment for all. \n\n Are you ready to help us lead? \n\n Our nursery is open from 8:00am - 18:00pm and we would require you to be able to work varied shift patterns between those times. \n\n Room Leader duties and responsibilities*: \n\n\n\t • Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development\n\t, • Enhance the all-around daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social and emotional development\n\t, • Assist staff in updating the EyLog system and their child learning journals with the highest quality\n\t, • Promote respect and credibility for this position by leading as a role model with impartiality and consistency\n\t, • Assist with embedding an effective key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments and identify training or development needs for staff\n\t, • Maintain accurate records and accounts relating to children and staff on EyMan system and on file\n\t, • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent and visitor at all times\n\t, • Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification - Essential\n\t, • Over 1 year’s experience working in Early Years - Essential\n\t, • Over 6 months’ experience working in a senior position - Desirable\n\t, • Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations to achieve a Good or Outstanding rating - Desirable\n\t, • Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - Essential\n\t, • Annual Leave: Starting at 24 days, plus a paid day off for your birthday and bank holidays \n\t, • Employee discount / Childcare: 75% off nursery fees for our team member’s\n\t, • Health & wellbeing programme: Confidential employee assistance helpline available and mental health first aid trained staff. \n\t, • Development: Tailored learning and development opportunities to support your career growth\n\t, • Company Pension Scheme \n\t
