Job Title: Payroll Specialist Role Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely salary disbursements in compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, and tax regulations. The Payroll Specialist will work closely with HR, Finance, and external vendors to maintain payroll accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and deliver excellent employee service. Key Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees, including salary calculations, deductions, bonuses, and reimbursements. Ensure compliance with statutory laws, tax regulations, PF, ESI, TDS, and other labor laws. Maintain accurate payroll records, employee data, and audit trails. Collaborate with HR to capture new hires, exits, attendance, and leave data for payroll processing. Reconcile payroll data with financial systems and prepare payroll reports for management. Address employee payroll queries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Liaise with external payroll vendors, auditors, and government agencies as required. Support year-end activities including tax filings, Form 16, and audit requirements. Continuously improve payroll processes, automation, and reporting practices. Required Skills & Experience: 3–6+ years of payroll experience in a corporate or shared service environment. Strong knowledge of Indian payroll, tax laws, and compliance requirements. Proficiency in payroll software (SAP, ADP, Oracle HCM, Workday, or similar). Solid understanding of MS Excel for reporting and reconciliations. Excellent attention to detail, confidentiality, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred: Experience in multinational organizations or large-scale payroll operations. Knowledge of global payroll processes (if role supports multiple geographies).
