The Role This is an opportunity to join Philanthrope as an Associate, a research-focused role designed for those at the start of their executive search career who want depth over speed and substance over style. You will work closely with Consultants and Principals to deliver high-quality research, market mapping, and candidate evaluation for C-suite and senior leadership mandates. You will gain hands-on exposure to every stage of the search process, from briefing through to placement, and build expertise across industries, leadership functions, and assessment frameworks. You will also contribute to internal projects, refining our research systems, supporting thought leadership, and helping strengthen the operational backbone of the firm. Over time, you will grow into a trusted adviser who understands not only where talent is, but how leadership works. What You’ll Do: • Conduct structured research to identify, assess, and map senior leadership talent, • Develop longlists and support candidate evaluation using behavioural and competency frameworks, • Produce client-ready candidate reports and market insights with accuracy and clarity, • Support Consultants and Principals in executing C-1 and C-2 searches across sectors, • Build and maintain market intelligence on key industries, investors, and leadership networks, • Contribute to the improvement of research systems, knowledge management, and firm-wide learning, • Uphold the cooperative principles of the firm, collaboration, integrity, and shared accountability Who You Are You are analytical, curious, and grounded.
