Ocean Clean & Co. is a growing domestic cleaning service based in Cambridge. We connect reliable, professional, and thorough cleaners with local homeowners who need regular domestic housekeeping. We handle the client acquisition, scheduling, and customer support so you can focus on what you do best: providing exceptional cleaning services. Role Overview We are looking for reliable, trustworthy, and experienced self-employed domestic cleaners to join our network in Cambridge. In this role, you will accept cleaning assignments booked through our agency and visit clients' homes to deliver high-standard domestic cleans. Note: This is a self-employed opportunity. You will be paid directly by the client for the hours worked, and you will set your own availability. Key Responsibilities • Carry out regular domestic cleaning tasks in residential homes (Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, kitchen cleaning, bathroom sanitization, and general tidying)., • Provide a high standard of attention to detail and customer service during every visit., • Manage your own schedule flexibly based on the jobs you accept from Ocean Clean & Co. Requirements & Qualifications • Experience in domestic cleaning, housekeeping, or hotel room attendant work., • References from previous employers or cleaning clients., • Friendly, professional manner with good communication skills., • Must have the right to work in the UK and be registered (or willing to register) as self-employed with HMRC., • Access to your own reliable transport to travel to client locations across Cambridge is preferred., • Enhanced DBS Check What We Provide • Flexible Hours: Choose the days and hours that fit your schedule., • Direct Payment: You get paid directly by the client on the day of the clean., • Full Support: Our agency manages the booking logistics, client communication, and customer service. THE WORK IN YOUR HANDS Prepare and present high-quality dishes with consistency, creativity and attention to detail. Take responsibility for the smooth running of the kitchen in the Sous Chef's absence when required. Manage your section efficiently, including stock control, deliveries, food rotation and minimising waste. Maintain the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, allergen management and kitchen compliance. Keep the kitchen, equipment and storage areas clean, organised and service-ready at all times. Adapt to guest requests and support the team to deliver an outstanding dining experience. Work collaboratively across the hotel, supporting events and business needs while contributing to a positive, high-performing kitchen culture.     Our dedicated team is looking for an enthusiastic practitioner who has a passion to nurture happy children and a strong drive to promote excellent childcare. Joint Colleges Nursery is a small independent nursery situated in a quiet, tree-lined residential area in the heart of Cambridge. We are within close walking distance from Cambridge City Centre and the train station. Our staff describe JCN as a wonderful and rewarding place of work. Working hours are between 8.30 am and 5.30 pm, 7.5 hours a day on a rota basis, Mondays to Fridays. JCN is registered for 57 children aged 0 - 5, most of whom attend full time. Our children and staff enjoy a stable environment throughout the day, and develop quality relationships with one another. Our parents describe JCN as a home from their home. We work with the key-person system, using online learning journals. As a key-person, you will be assigned a maximum of 6 children. Paperwork time for children's development is allocated within the normal working hours of 37.5 a week. Every one of our team members is important to us.
