This is a stable, long‑term role with a supportive team, excellent benefits, and the chance to work in a clean, professional environment.\n\nThe Package\n\n * £34,000 – £36,000\n\n * 25 days annual leave + bank holidays\n\n * Private healthcare\n\n * Static role based in Basingstoke, with occasional cover in Winchester\n\n * Full training and development opportunities\n\nThe Role\n\nYou’ll be responsible for delivering both PPM and reactive maintenance across the site, ensuring the building remains safe, compliant, and fully operational. This is a varied position suited to someone with a broad skill set and a proactive approach.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Carry out planned and reactive fabric maintenance\n\n * Basic electrical tasks (lamp changes, minor repairs, fault finding)\n\n * Basic plumbing (unblocking, minor leaks, general upkeep)\n\n * General building maintenance including doors, locks, fixtures, fittings, and finishes\n\n * Support the wider engineering team to maintain a safe, compliant healthcare environment\n\n * Ensure all work is completed to high standards and in line with site procedures\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n\n * Proven experience as a Fabric Technician, Maintenance Operative, or similar\n\n * Strong all‑round building maintenance skills\n\n * Basic electrical and plumbing knowledge\n\n * Experience in a healthcare or commercial environment is beneficial\n\n * Reliable, customer‑focused, and able to work independently\n\nWhy This Role Stands Out\n\nThis is a stable, secure position on a well‑run healthcare site with a respected FM provider.
