Job Summary: The Business Development Analyst supports the company’s growth initiatives and plays a critical role in building and managing a proprietary sourcing pipeline. This position partners closely with executive leadership to identify, qualify, and advance high-potential opportunities aligned with the company’s investment strategy. The role requires strong communication skills, persistence, attention to detail, and a professional approach when engaging business owners and founders. The Business Development Analyst gains exposure to acquisition strategy, market analysis, and early-stage deal evaluation within a collaborative, performance-oriented environment. Requirements: Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Execute outbound sourcing campaigns across multiple channels, including phone, email, LinkedIn, and conferences, • Build and maintain a proprietary pipeline of potential acquisition targets through systematic research and outreach, • Conduct high-volume cold calls and direct outreach to company owners, founders, and senior executives, • Qualify prospects based on established investment and acquisition criteria, • Partner with the CEO and leadership team to prioritize and advance high-potential opportunities, • Track outreach activity, lead status, and response metrics within the CRM, • Develop market maps and curated target lists to support acquisition strategies, • Assist with initial opportunity evaluation and early-stage diligence efforts, • Maintain accurate documentation and sourcing records to support reporting and analysis, • Represent AccuSourceHR professionally in initial founder and owner conversations Education/Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Sales, or a related field preferred, • Recent graduate or 1–3 years of relevant experience, • Demonstrated exposure to outbound outreach, lead generation, or sourcing activities, • Prior experience through internships or full-time roles in one or more of the following environments preferred: • Search fund or entrepreneurship-through-acquisition setting, • Sell-side M&A, investment banking, or brokerage firm, • Private equity or business development team, • In-house corporate development or business development role Qualifications/Skills: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities for this position. • Demonstrated interest in entrepreneurship, acquisitions, private equity, or business development, • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with senior executives and business owners, • Comfort with high-volume outbound outreach, including cold calling and email campaigns, • Ability to conduct company-level and industry research to support sourcing and qualification efforts, • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prospects and priorities simultaneously, • High attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records within CRM systems, • Resourceful, resilient, and able to persist through rejection in an outbound environment, • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, results-oriented setting, • High level of integrity, professionalism, and maturity when representing the company externally Benefits: • Medical (with company contribution), • HSA (with company contribution), • Dental (with company contribution), • Vision, • Employer paid Life Insurance and Long-Term Disability, • Short-Term Disability, • 401(k) (with company match), • Paid holidays, • Paid Vacation Time, • Paid Sick Time, • Pet insurance Physical Requirements: Must have a dedicated and ergonomic workspace at home conducive to focused work. • Access to a stable and reliable high-speed internet connection., • Adequate lighting and minimal background noise to support professional video calls and meetings., • Ability to lift and carry up to 5 pounds occasionally, for tasks such as setting up a workstation or equipment., • The ability to work comfortably and effectively in a home environment that meets ergonomic standards, including proper seating and desk setup.
