Job Description Waterfall Catering is growing and we need you. We are looking a PART TIME EXPERIENCED CHEF to expand our team. Our kitchens are large, clean and AIR CONDITIONED & located in the Carnegie/and Robinson area of Pittsburgh. • Part-time CHEF position for approx 20-24 hours per week, • Location: Carpenters Training Center, 652 Ridge Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15205 (Carnegie/Robinson Area) No bus line is available., • Schedule: Daylight schedule available. 7:00am - 1:00pm (Tuesday to Thursday). Other additional shifts may be available if interested., • Requirement: Previous grill cook experience is required., • Must be experienced!!! Catering experience is a plus!, • Be Innovative and Creative with casual comfort foods!, • Prepare all grill items to order according to the daily menu., • Previous grill/fryer experience required (breakfast/lunch preferred), • Set up, break down and clean the grill station., • Check quality of food items, making sure they meet standards of taste, appearance and correct temperature, • Interact with our guests in a friendly, professional manner., • Maintain an open line of communication with management, informing them of products and supplies needed., • Follow the uniform dress code and maintain proper personal hygiene., • Assist fellow team members at every opportunity., • Perform any other duties as assigned by management., • This position requires full mobility and the ability to lift, carry and pulling up to 40 pounds., • Standing/and or Walking 100% of the time.

Essential Functions: Essential Functions Statement(s) • Work with Team Members by observing, providing feedback, modeling specific tasks or procedures, communicating expectations, and following up to increase their performance and morale., • Works all stations in the Back of House to assist Team Members during peak times and to maintain service and quality standards., • Be Creative, control cost, and assist in preparing daily menus and specials., • Communicate daily specials, shift priorities, and daily productions to all Team Members to ensure they are prepared and set up for success., • Monitor multiple private dining operations by conducting walkthroughs to ensure operating standards are executed and maintained., • Ensure sanitation procedures are in place, and the restaurant is clean and organized at all times., • Set up the kitchen with tools, preparation sheets, and materials to ensure the Team Members have the tools needed to prepare fantastic and safe food., • Complete closing duties, cleaning duties, and maintenance duties to ensure all closing tasks are accounted for to prepare for the next day’s operations., • Inspect, count, and perform inventory levels of walk-ins, freezers, prep areas, coolers, and dry storage., • Monitor and evaluate products and services provided by vendors to ensure Club standards.
