Job Description Summary STEM Teacher Kids Academy of Learning Excellence, powered by CORE 📍 601 Southlake Blvd, North Chesterfield, VA 23236 Employment Type:W-2 Hourly Pay:Based on experience Kids Academy of Learning Excellence (KALE), powered by the CORE Foundation, is seeking aSTEM Teacher to join our innovative early learning team. KALE is a next-generation learning environment that blendsstrong academic foundationswithSTE(AI)M™ education, robotics, literacy, and character development. This role is ideal for an educator who is excited about hands-on learning, future-ready skills, and inspiring young children through science, technology, engineering, arts, mathematics, and age-appropriate artificial intelligence concepts. Duties • Deliver engagingSTE(AI)M™ instruction, including robotics, coding, and interactive technology, • Foster curiosity, creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking, • Use educational technology tools (robotics kits, coding platforms, introductory AI tools), • Create a warm, safe, and structured classroom environment, • Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, • Maintain classroom cleanliness, safety, and organization, • Collaborate with teaching staff on curriculum planning and continuous improvement, • Document and assess student progress in alignment with school and state standards, • Participate in required professional development and KALE-sponsored training, • Model CORE Foundation values, including inclusion, resilience, and service Requirements • Must be18 years or older, • High school diploma or GED required, • Must meetVirginia Department of Education (VDOE) requirements for licensed center lead teachers, including required coursework and training, • CurrentCPR and First Aid certification, • Completion of allVDOE-mandated trainings, including:, • Safe Sleep / SIDS Prevention, • Mandated Reporter Training, • Successful completion ofcriminal background checks, CPS checks, and sex offender registry checks, • Ability to lift and move up to40 lbs.and actively support classroom/lab activities, • Strong communication, professionalism, reliability, and teamwork skills Nice To Haves • Experience teachingSTEM, robotics, coding, or AIin an educational setting, • Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field, • Experience working in diverse and inclusive classrooms, • Bilingual or multilingual abilities Benefits • Competitive hourly pay based on experience, • W-2 employee status (not contractor), • Paid onboarding and orientation to KALE policies and innovation tools, • Ongoing professional development inSTE(AI)M™ and AI-integrated education, • Supportive, mission-driven, nonprofit-powered team environment, • Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children, families, and the community
