We are thrilled to launch our North Campus in the 26-27 school year, initially serving about 300 students in grades K4-6 and 9. Academics • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality instruction in Math, Science, and other subjects as assigned., • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students, including small-group and individual support., • Monitor student learning and document progress during small-group work; share observations and assessment information with the lead teacher to guide next steps for instruction., • Develop a working understanding of grade-level academic standards and use this knowledge, along with student data provided by the lead teacher, to support strong instructional practices and improved learning outcomes. Classroom Environment and Student Relationships • Seek out opportunities to integrate Biblical truth with their lessons., • Integrate character education and/or faith-based values into daily lessons., • Maintain a safe, organized, and nurturing classroom environment., • Manage classroom behavior in a consistent and effective manner, promoting courage, respect, integrity, and perseverance through the development and maintenance of positive relationships with students., • Serve as the cultural and spiritual model for their students, always interacting respectfully and striving to demonstrate God’s love to their students and families., • Effectively communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress, behavior, and needs., • Maintain a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about students. Professionalism • Be open to coaching and feedback to continuously improve teaching practices and support positive student outcomes., • Participate in ongoing professional development to implement instruction with fidelity., • Collaborate as a team player and proactively offer solutions as challenges arise throughout the school year., • Collaborate with colleagues, instructional aides, and support staff to enhance student learning., • Work collaboratively and supportively with colleagues, supervisors, students, parents/guardians, and community members, maintaining positive, solution-oriented relationships that foster a strong, inclusive environment for optimal learning., • Continuously seek professional growth through building and department meetings/professional development, formal coursework, workshops, and seminars/in-services., • Serve as a role model for students by demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and positive behavior., • Monitor and support students during morning arrival, lunch, recess and dismissal., • Serve with a flexible, open heart that recognizes no duty is outside the scope of your role, we are a team that is stronger together in service of our students., • Travel to and support teachers and students in daily specials classes, including (but not limited to) PE, Art, Drama, Spanish, Bible, Music, and Library. What We’re Looking For • A belief in the ability of every child and a commitment to ensure excellence for each student., • Bachelor's Degree, including any other requirements for accreditation, (Master’s degree a plus). State teaching license preferred but not required., • Active participation in a Christian church., • Effective oral and written communication skills., • Demonstrate strong multitasking skills, support students’ emotional needs with empathy, contribute as a collaborative team member, and remain flexible during schedule changes or unexpected shifts., • Team player committed to the St. Augustine Preparatory mission and model.
