Technician, Environmental Monitoring Your Role The Technician, Environmental Monitoring, will perform environmental monitoring and routine utility testing within a GMP biopharmaceutical manufacturing organization. Key Responsibilities Perform environmental monitoring (non-viable particulates, viable air, surface, temperatures) in cleanroom environments within the Manufacturing area Conduct environmental monitoring for aseptic filling processes Operate monitoring equipment, including Met One Laser Particle Counter, Viable Air Sampler, Conductivity meter, pH meter, and TOC analyzer Monitor temperatures of Manufacturing and Microbiological QC temperature storage units Perform preventative maintenance verification of RCS Air Samplers Read EM plates/strips and document results on relevant forms Collect purified water samples throughout the manufacturing facility and perform TOC and conductivity testing Input trending data for environmental monitoring and water samples Perform cleaning verification of production equipment Conduct area release per protocol for campaigned manufacturing areas Responsible for notification and re-testing of alert and action out-of-limits (OOLs) Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Associateâs degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school OR Minimum two years of relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience Preferred Qualifications Knowledge or experience in a GMP environment Position Type / Expected Hours This is a full-time position with a Wednesday through Saturday schedule (4 days x 10 hours), typically from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required. Compensation Hourly compensation range: $20.52â$27.35, depending on experience and qualifications Expected base annual pay range: $42,700â$56,900, plus bonus and benefits Pay is determined based on skills, experience, and relevant education or training Who You Are A collaborative team player with a positive, solution-oriented mindset Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to convey information clearly and confidently Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Skilled at building and maintaining professional relationships with team members, clients, vendors, and suppliers
