Job DescriptionDescription:Recovery Coaching Intake SpecialistNew York, NY / Huntington, NY About the Position: Mountainside is seeking an empathetic, highly motivated Recovery Coaching Intake Specialist to support prospective clients seeking recovery coaching, professional support services, and non-clinical programs. As the first point of contact, you will help individuals and families navigate their options, understand available services, and enroll in the program that best meets their needs. Your Role: • Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and web inquiries from individuals, family members, and referral partners seeking recovery coaching or support services., • Guide prospective clients through the intake process with empathy, professionalism, and a strong understanding of Mountainside’s non-clinical programs., • Convert inquiries into enrollments by guiding clients through decision making process with empathy, urgency, and clarity, helping them understand service options, program expectations, and next steps., • Meet monthly goals around engagement, conversion, and client onboarding., • Match clients to the appropriate coaching service (recovery coaching, sober monitoring, companioning, or professional support services) based on their needs and preferences., • Serve as a trusted, calming presence for individuals navigating stressful or uncertain moments., • Clearly explain service structures, coaching models, program guidelines, and financial expectations., • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in CRM and internal systems., • Coordinate with recovery coaches, scheduling teams, and program leadership to ensure smooth onboarding and communication., • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure a smooth and informed admissions process., • Clearly communicate financial responsibilities and available payment options., • Ability to remain patient, empathetic, and grounded during emotional client conversations., • A motivated, goal-driven professional with excellent communication skills., • Experience in recovery coaching, behavioral health, admissions, customer service, or a related field is a plus., • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail., • Comfort navigating CRM tools, scheduling systems, and basic financial discussions., • High school diploma or equivalency required, • Knowledge of recovery coaching, behavioral health, or support services preferred, • 2+ years of experience in customer service, admissions, intake, or client-facing roles required The base rate of pay for this position is $26.44 - $31.25 per hour. Actual pay is determined based on a number of job-related factors including skills, education, training, credentials, experience, scope and complexity of role responsibilities, geographic location, performance, and working conditions.
