ABOUT AJ OPERATIONS An extension of AJ Capital Partners ("AJCP") founded in 2008, Adventurous Journeys Operations ("AJ Operations") is the in-house management company for AJCP's hospitality, office, residential, entertainment, and retail assets. By leveraging resources across the company, AJ Operations expands upon AJCP's vertically integrated development approach and is responsible for driving operating performance and guest experience through the alignment of branding, real estate, and property operations. AJ Operations currently manages over 350,000 square feet of commercial space in the AJCP's mixed-use project in Nashville's Wedgewood Houston neighborhood, with this portfolio expanding by an additional 400,000 square feet by fall 2026 as further phases of the project are completed. Other projects managed by AJ Operations include Chief's, an entertainment venue in partnership with Eric Church on Broadway in Nashville; Memoir Residential, a multifamily platform currently operating in Portland, Nashville, and New Orleans; and Hotel 1928 in Waco, TX in partnership with Magnolia by Chip and Joanna Gaines, as well as many other exciting commercial, retail, hospitality, and F&B ventures. ABOUT THE ROLE The Lease and Yardi Administrator will play a foundational role in strengthening AJCP's financial operations and data systems across the firm's neighborhood scale developments in Nashville and Miami. In Nashville, Wedgewood Village includes almost 20 acres of mixed-use development, including new construction and adaptive reuse buildings housing office space, residential units, restaurants and retailers, as well as a private members club and music venue, among other offerings. In Miami, the Little River project spans 25 acres and more than 1M square feet of adaptive reuse and new construction, as well as three Memoir Residential multifamily communities. By ensuring accurate records in Yardi, completing accounting and bookkeeping tasks, preparing monthly close-out and financial reports, processing invoices for payment, and account reconciliations, this role supports the day-to-day efficiency of the business while building a strong foundation for future growth. WHAT YOU WILL DO Financial Administration & Reporting • Administrative support for property financial cycle as relates to Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, procurement card, procurement to pay, annual property budgets, Yardi, contract preparation, financial reports, and other Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable duties., • Operate Yardi and complete transactions by entering all required fields correctly and by completing updates and back-ups to ensure the integrity of the system, • Review and interpret leases, ensuring critical financial terms are abstracted into Yardi, • Maintain database of lease information and abstracts, including tenant information, amendments, relocations, expirations, and rent information, • Interface with and respond to requests from internal departments, such as Accounting, Finance, Leasing, Marketing, and Asset Management on tenant/property information requests, • Provide support in the fiscal management of properties, such as maintenance of A/R and A/P, including coding invoices, operating expense control, and preparing budgets and financial reports, • Contribute ideas to improve efficiency in workflows, system usage, and reporting processes., • Ensure compliance by tracking Certificates of Insurance, vendor documentation, and accurate billback processing YOUR QUALIFICATIONS Required • 2+ years of relevant experience in commercial real estate, property management, accounting, or Yardi administration (commercial or multifamily), • Working knowledge of Yardi with an interest in growing expertise across modules, • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for financial data and reporting, • Meticulous attention to detail and the highest standards for organization, accuracy, timeliness, and precision, • Critical thinker who takes the lead in solving complex problems, • Strong work ethic with a desire to learn in areas outside of comfort zone, • Ability to review, comprehend, and interpret standard to moderately complex lease and financial documents Preferred • Bachelor's degree, • Background in real estate finance or accounting (commercial or multifamily), with exposure to budgeting, forecasting, or portfolio-level analysis, • Experience with rapidly growing companies or setting up new operations, • Strong knowledge of finance and operations Equal Employment Opportunity: AJCP/AJ Operations is an equal employment opportunity employer and complies with all applicable laws prohibiting discrimination based on an individual's race, color, religion, religious creed, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, physical or mental disability, medical condition, genetic information, marital status, reproductive health decision-making, sex, gender, age, sexual orientation, veteran and/or military status, protected medical leaves, domestic violence victim status, political affiliation, or any other status protected by federal, state, or local laws.
