OUR POWERX PERKS • Competitive Pay, • Incentives for Certifications, • Referral Bonus Program, • Tuition Reimbursement, • Medical, dental, vision, LTD, STD, Basic Life/AD&D, and other ancillary products, • 401k program with a company match, • Performance Program, • Paid Parental Leave, • PTO including Wellness Days and Paid Holidays, • Design, develop, and maintain instructor-led (ILT), web-based (WBT), and video-based (VBT) training programs focused on technical, operational, and safety topics., • Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) to capture complex technical knowledge and translate it into clear, engaging, learner-centered training content., • Administer and support the organization’s Learning Management System (LMS), including course uploads, user management, reporting, tracking, and ongoing platform optimization., • Record, edit, and produce instructional videos, technical walkthroughs, and visual learning assets to support blended and digital training delivery., • Support the implementation of strategic workforce development initiatives, including onboarding programs, career pathway models, and client-facing training offerings., • Develop visually compelling training collateral, presentations, program brochures, and internal communications to promote workforce development programs., • Must have a satisfactory background check., • Knowledge of electrical systems, acceptance testing, commissioning, start-up, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting., • Excellent project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously., • Ability to assess training needs and develop targeted learning programs., • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate a diverse workforce; strong leadership and mentoring skills., • Proficient with Learning Management Systems (LMS), training software, and other tools for tracking and evaluating employee progress., • Ability to foster a collaborative, supportive, and customer-oriented work environment., • Detail-oriented with a commitment to safety and quality., • Problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt training methods to meet diverse employee needs., • Client-focused mindset with the ability to understand and respond to the unique needs of our customers., • Results-driven with a focus on achieving both employee development and organizational goals.Experience and Education:, • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field., • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in instructional design and training content development, preferably within the power systems, utilities, or industrial sectors., • Experience with technical training standards and certifications in electrical commissioning or similar industries., • Professional certifications in workforce development, training, or electrical services (e.g., NETA, NICET, or other related certifications) are highly desirable., • Expertise in training requirements for support services, encompassing industry standards, equipment handling protocols, and certification processes. Physical Requirements: • This is an office desk position with no significant physical exertion required.
