This role plays a critical function in ensuring that physician agreements, hospital service contracts, payer-related documents, and vendor agreements are accurately tracked, compliant with healthcare regulations, and executed on time. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Manage the full lifecycle of healthcare-related contracts, including physician employment and independent contractor agreements, hospital and health system service agreements, telemedicine services agreements, medical director agreements, and call/on-call coverage agreements., • Track and maintain key contract terms including compensation structures, coverage obligations, termination provisions, notice requirements, and renewal dates., • Maintain accurate records related to licensure, credentialing dependencies, and contract-linked compliance requirements., • Support contract compliance related to healthcare regulations, including Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, HIPAA, data privacy obligations, and state-specific physician practice and telemedicine requirements., • Coordinate contract documentation to support audits, payor reviews, hospital credentialing, and regulatory inquiries., • Ensure telemedicine agreements align with clinical service models and operational workflows., • Own and maintain the legal and contract calendar, including contract expirations, auto-renewals, termination deadlines, physician coverage dates, and regulatory milestones., • Proactively notify the Managing Partner and leadership team of upcoming deadlines, risks, and required actions., • Serve as the primary owner of Salesforce contract functionality or other contract lifecycle management platforms, including workflow configuration, approvals, and execution processes., • Ensure contract metadata is accurate, complete, and auditable, including provider names, facilities, service lines, states, and effective dates., • Generate reports related to physician contracts, hospital agreements, and renewal pipelines., • Act as the central point of contact for internal and external healthcare counsel, coordinating drafting, redlining, execution, amendments, and deliverables., • Track legal matters, contract revisions, and outside counsel documentation, including billing coordination., • Collaborate closely with medical leadership, physician recruiting, credentialing, licensing, revenue cycle, compliance, operations, and clinical program leadership., • Standardize contract templates in coordination with counsel and improve workflows to reduce cycle time and mitigate compliance risk., • Prepare executive summaries for the Managing Partner highlighting contract status, risks, and upcoming renewals., • Bachelor’s degree required, Legal Studies, Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field preferred., • Five or more years of experience in healthcare contract management, legal operations, or physician contracting., • Advanced experience with Salesforce (required) and/or healthcare-focused contract management systems., • Demonstrated experience managing legal calendars and coordinating with healthcare-focused internal and external counsel., • High attention to detail with the ability to manage sensitive and highly regulated documentation., • Paralegal certification or equivalent legal training., • Experience in telemedicine, physician staffing, MSO, or hospital-based services., • Familiarity with multi-state physician contracting and licensure considerations., • Experience with CLM tools such as Ironclad, Conga, DocuSign, ContractWorks, or similar platforms., • Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare and physician contract lifecycle management., • Strong understanding of telemedicine regulatory requirements and compliance considerations., • Advanced skill in Salesforce and contract lifecycle management systems, including workflow configuration and reporting., • Ability to manage complex legal calendars, prioritize deadlines, and proactively mitigate risk., • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify contract risks and operational misalignment., • Ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership, legal counsel, and cross-functional stakeholders while exercising discretion and sound judgment.
